I came to Ben as a complete novice 2 years ago and within a few months I was consistently driving great balls at the driving range. My frustrations came with my inability to play well on a golf course which led me to book a 2hr lesson. It was the best decision that I made as not only did I learn so much more but Ben gave me the confidence, that with slight adjustment I could make such a difference to my game...
The driving range did not prepare me for weather condition, uneven ground and general anxiety, that I feel playing on a golf course.
Ben taught me so much about the different clubs to use depending on weather, the length of the grass and the distance to the hole. The other major learning curve was how to balance my weight depending on whether the ground was sloping up or down.
All in all it was a great confidence boost which has worked wonders for me - I would highly recommend this type of lesson.

I’ve been playing golf on and off for 8years now, and by on and off I mean stopping for years at a ...
time. Started when I was 16years old with a friend, just playing for a bit of fun, then when he moved
away I stopped playing for a few years. Played one round in 2015 and then didn’t play again until early this year (2017) when a new work colleague invited me.
I was finding my golf very frustrating: my swing was inconsistent and I kept topping the ball and
didn’t feel comfortable with my swing, being very stiff and stuck in position. I found myself getting
angry and not enjoying my golf.
As I’ve now started playing golf regularly, I decided to get some
lessons and booked with Ben.
I’ve had one lesson with Ben so far and can already feel a massive difference in my swing and how I
feel approaching the ball. During the session Ben took his time to analyse my swing and then gave me constuctive feedback and demonstration changes to help me improve. The advice Ben gave was very useful, including grip, stance, effort and drills to try at home as well as on the driving range.
Although my session was booked for 30mins Ben took longer with me to ensure I was comfortable and got the most out of my lesson.
I was extremely happy with the lesson that I had and have come away feeling more comfortable
with my swing and striking the ball. It has encouraged me to go to the driving range to put what I
had learnt in to practice, which is new for me as I would never go to a driving range by myself as I
felt uncomfortable and out of place with my poor swing. I’m now eager to do more lessons and get
out of the Golf Course more.
As mentioned, I’ve only done one lesson but feel I could easily reduce
my score around the course already. I’ve booked more lesson with Ben and am really excited about
I would highly recommend Ben to anyone looking to improve their game, or anyone new to the game.
Decided to download P. Impact book last night, big mistake! As it cost me lost sleep into the early hours, only got to chapter 3/4 I think, couldn't put it down.
Just finished work & now hitting balls on the range at the moment & had to tell you I'm hitting the ball so clean without any effort, bonkers !
I'm a 8 handicap player who had reached a dead end with my golf and going backwards fast.
I felt I needed a new approach, my head was so full of technical jargon & swing thoughts I wasn't enjoying my golf anymore. Within no time at all Bens calm approach took me back to basics developing a much more natural effortless way to swing a golf club....
Later that afternoon I shot better than handicap something I had been struggling to get near & really enjoying a more free swing.
Thanks Ben look forward to our next meet
Practiced information given with a bucket of balls on the range. Played in a competition the next day, information put into practice, increased confidence in second shot, very effective, managed to score points on first 3 holes. Consistently better, still not perfect as failed to score on a couple of holes. Overall 31 points scored, previous high so far this year 14 points. Lesson effective, as normally changes usually take a while to have effect on points scoring. This time confidence boost impacted immediately. Joan Etra
For many years I have tried to play golf my own way, trying to learn different things from different sources, but all that done has confused me and my games has gone backwards
I then spoke to Ben about enlisting his help to sort out my game, and in a very short time he was able to show me so much improvement in my game play, he also helped me to understand where I was going wrong and helped me with the mental aspect of the game too
Ben has a very easy to understand way of teaching and has great attitude to helping everyone enjoy the game.
I am looking forward to working with Ben on other parts of my game.

THE EASIEST SWING IN GOLF
As I do this time of year i went to see Ben to coach me to strike golf balls as the new season is upon us.
I happen to see ben demonstrate a swing while coaching young kids that reminded me of a swing I saw on you tube. 'The swing contradicts all the techniques that I have been trying to master all these years'.
Well, we had a session on the range, it was difficult to accept the new principal but I stuck with it. Lesson over I continued to hit balls with the 'dancing swing' then by golly I got it ... and wow! it feels like you don't use any stress, energy with the complexity of lower body and upper body movements, you just turn back and through and strike the ball.
Its unbelievably simple when you trust it and the ball flight is wonderful. When you get it right, and im still learning to master it as I have only had a few rounds since my lesson. The pleasure to see such a ball flight with what actually feels like very little effort is superb.
Even my playing partners are saying it looks so much smoother and effortless and there is a bonus, I don't feel I have made a great deal of effort trying to strike the golf ball. No tiredness no strains after I finish a round of golf. Simply give it a try, you will be dancing back to the course for more
recently become interested in golf, I came across this website and took the time
to read the blogs posted on here. I was so impressed and found them to be very
interesting, insightful and thought provoking. I would highly recommend them to
other visitors of this site as they could potentially make a significant
difference to the way you think and feel with regards to practicing and playing
golf. I will definitely be returning to this site regularly in the hope that
there will be new ones added, as I would like to read

i have been struggling with my short game for ages but just one lesson with ben and am already seeing results ben explained in easy terms what was wrong and set several little practice tips to improve my short game i would not hesitate to recomend ben to any of my friends whether a golfer or not as he is a superb teacher keep up the great ben and thanks again
Ben has kept my golfing life thriving despite several health issues that should have stopped me playing. Ben`s teaching method helps you play to the best of your ability. Especially helpful is a playing lesson where you can see a Pro in action and he can see your shortcomings
The Long & Short of it
I went to my pro Ben, with a 'problem', i wasnt hitting my driver as far as i thought i should.
Well to my surprise after watching very carefully at my swing, Ben gave me a short iron and asked me to follow his instruction as closely as i could. it was strange at first but my determination was such, that i had an open mind and after all, my pro knows best. He gave me drills for my swing and with practice my short and mid irons started to fly like never before. He then adjusted my set up with my driver and fairways and after hitting many balls on the range i witnessed a different ball flight and a wow factor that i hadn't felt before.
During this time and additional visits to Ben, he then taught me to think differently about all aspects of my round on the golf course. My behaviour on the course use to be getting frustrated with a poor shot that would last for two or three holes.
Yes the mind set is just as important and Ben showed me how to deal with it and help control it.
I now really look forward to each game i play.

The children who participated in the Trigolf Club developed alot of basic golf
skills in a very short time. The club was well organised and equipped and I
would recommend the club to all Schools.
Hi, I am a female golfer, who was sruggling with her game, playing off 16. Ben was recommended to me, so I booked some lessons. Result! Was cut to 12! He has the ability to work with what you already have and has an excellent mental approach to the game.
I was keen to learn the basics about golf for my move to vancouver. Ben taught me the basics over 4 lessons, and now i'm able to participate playing golf in Canada and enjoy! Ben had a lot of patience with me as I had never picked up a golf club before, his rates were extremely reasonable considering what I learnt with him in such a short peroid of time. Highly reccomended

New to golf
I booked six lessons with Ben in the Autumn, I've taken four so far (during the off season) and worked on various parts of the game. Ben is an excellent teacher, I've felt comfortable throughout, the tuition is fun and easy to digest. I've improved quickly as a result, cutting my handicap and winning a tournament. Ben shows interest in my progress and is always happy to offer more advice in between lessons. Highly recommended. B Gibbons, DRGC. Buster Gibbons
I set up a series of golf lessons as part of the PE
curriculum for kids who were suffering from medical, behavioural and emotional
difficulties. Many of these children had never experienced golf before so I was
unsure how it was going to pan out! In fact I had nothing to worry about. Ben
was a fantastic teacher. He was patient and attentive and all those who took
part couldn't wait for the next week (including the staff). It was a great
success with all participants achieving the goals that had set for them. Many
actually realising that they had a bit of a flair for the game (Staff

My name is Ellee. I am 8 years old. Ben takes me on Sunday morningsfrom 10 to 11. It is really fun because he always sets difficult challenges which I hardly ever win. I think I need to work on my aim. I think Ben is a great teacher because he is really really funny. He makes the challenges really hard but fun. I really look forward to my lesson on a Sunday morning.

I play on average twice a week either driving range or a course. Since going to Ben my game has improved ten fold.
Ben helps you understand your golf and comes up with a strategy for your game.
I have enjoyed my lessons and have enjoyed my golf after. I have even convinced my friends to go and get a lesson or two. Best thing you'll do personally.
